SCout is the only specialized flasher fully reinforced with the biggest database of flash files – over 300GB for all supported platforms.
Every user is entitled to 12 months of free access to flash file database at http://www.boot-loader.com, starting from the date of the first update. In order to get access, a user with activated SCout dongle just needs to register at http://www.boot-loader.com by filling in the Registration form and registyer his device at Boot-Loader Download Manager.
Free access to flash files is based on 1 year x 10GB price plan. For terms and conditions or the available price plans, please visit section Pricing at http://www.boot-loader.com.
To enable downloading at Boot-Loader v2.0, the following steps have to be performed as soon as registration procedure is completed:
- Download and install Boot-Loader Download Manager.
- Connect your S-Cout dongle to PC USB port.
- Launch Boot-Loader Download Manager. When prompted, enter your Boot-Loader v2.0 login and password.
If download manager is already open, select Settings->Devices in the top menu.
- Download manager scans connected devices and pops up a dialog box.
- Click the Register link. The device gets registered.
If your SCout dongle already registered, click the Next link
- Follow to the My Account->Device Accounts to check the device status and download allowance.
If you're allowed, please follow to SCout catregory and start download files.
To enable downloading at old Boot-Loader, the following steps have to be performed as soon as registration procedure is completed:
- Login to www.boot-loader.com
- Enter Username and Password into appropriate fields and press Login button.
- User Menu appears instead of Authorization area.
- Select SCout Login tab in User Menu.
- Enter SCout serial number and press Login button.
- Log to SCout section.
- Select required flash file, Right click » Save target as...
Unlike the other sections, SCout is compatible with any browser and doesn’t require any additional online client. |
